Windham Northeast Supervisory Union invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Principal of the Bellows Falls Middle School. The Superintendent seeks a Principal who will work in partnership with faculty, staff, students, parents, community members, central office administrators and the School Board to lead the Bellows Falls Middle School into the future. Settled in 1753, Bellows Falls is a village located in the Town of Rockingham, VT along the Connecticut River. The Village is home to 2,750.
Situated just off I91, Bellows Falls is 20 minutes North of Brattleboro, VT, 20 minutes South of Springfield, VT, and 20 West of Keene, NH, the Village is home to Green Mountain Railroad, Fish Ladder and Visitor Center and Adams Old Stone Grist Mill Museum. Named after Colonel Benjamin Bellows, the Village continues to have a strong connection to the Abenaki Nation who once inhabited the area around the falls. Windham Northeast Supervisory Union serves students PK-12 in 6 schools. Bellows Falls Middle School serves students in Grades 5-8.

The Principal of the Bellows Falls Middle School must be an innovative, experienced, and motivating educational leader who: Exercises vision and provides leadership that appropriately involves staff, parents, students, and the community in the identification and accomplishment of the school's mission.Demonstrates a love of teaching and learningFocuses on both student achievement and social-emotional learningHas a strong understanding of specialized programsHas a deep knowledge of middle school best practices, including middle school literacy and student interventions.
