Responsibilities:
The Solutions Architect works as a key member of the SaaS delivery to provide Nuance customers with large-scale enterprise deployments that automate access to information and services. You will be responsible for the system architecture, infrastructure definition, network connectivity, integration and deployment of technical cloud solutions that meet client’s business and ROI objectives.
  • Architect technical cloud solutions to solve our clients' business problems by integrating Nuance Voice, Analytics and Biometric products.
  • Lead the development and documentation of the technical requirements and solutions architecture of the Analytics Reporting solution.
  • Act as the main technical contact for customers throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Act as a technical liaison and trusted advisor between customers, engineering teams and support
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as Professional Services, Network Engineering and R&D to design the best possible solution for your customers.
  • Work closely with the Project Management to actively support Project objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Provide cross-functional technical leadership on project teams.
  • Deploy and maintain solution components using DevOps principles.
  • Design automation improvement and CI/CD pipelines
  • Software architecture skills for designing High Availability and Fault Tolerant systems
  • Capture and share best practices across teams.
  • Third-level support for deployed systems
  • Help with the RFI/RFP/Quoting process
Qualifications
Education: BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
Minimum years of experience: At least 8 years of working experience as a Solutions Architect or equivalent role.
Required Skills
  • Design/Implementation/Consulting experience with Distributed Applications
  • Big Data Analytics Architecture
  • Working Knowledge on Cloud Technology Stack (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP, UDP, VPN, DNS, TLS, SIP, RTP)
  • Hands on experience with Linux (admin, networking, scripting)
  • Experience with Data life cycle
  • BI and big data technologies: Azure Synapse (Dedicated SQL pools, Serverless SQL pools, Serverless Apache Spark pools), Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks, Python, .Net
  • Collaborates with Technical leads and Product Managers to jointly drive project/technical governance of the design, build, and deployment into use of proof of concepts (POCs) and pilots, using enterprise architecture processes and ensuring quality control through peer review.
  • Able to work on any new technology stack and perform proof of concept.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Customers, Executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work with Vendors and other internal teams and come up with a Robust, Fault Tolerant, Cost-Effective Solution
  • Passion for learning cutting-edge technologies and coming up with plan on automating large scale processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Attention to detail with methodical problem-solving approach.
  • Customer-facing role experience
  • Comfortable working remotely with people in other geographic regions
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Cloud Native Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Prometheus
  • Experience with DevOps principles (Agile, CI, CD, IAC, Automation, Monitoring)
  • Experience with Big Data Analytics/Reporting systems
  • Experience with ELK stack
  • Experience with Monitoring, troubleshooting, Production Deployments, Troubleshooting and Documentations
  • Experience using Azure native monitoring (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
  • Experience with telephony and VoIP SIP-based applications.
