Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients to create raving fans. You are the voice of the client in our operations. Your responsibilities will include: processing all orders – new and reorders; identifying additional business opportunities from existing clients and prospects; providing accurate quotes; and providing detailed, clear, concise work orders to allow all departments to properly fulfill the order with zero bounce backs while helping the company achieve its annual goals. Annual goals and margins will be agreed upon with key performance indicators and compensation will be tied to the achievement of these goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Productivity – measures of productivity will be based on the following:

  • Write-ups: Increase of % over previous year
  • Jobs entered into POS and Job Jacket to Prepress within 4 hours or less from approval of estimate by

client

  • Order accuracy: 100% work order accuracy (zero reprints) taking actions to produce high-quality, zero- defect work orders with complete instructions
  • Graphics Instruction accuracy: provide clear instructions for the graphics team to produce high quality, accurate items for clients
  • Target Margin: %+
  • Invoicing completed promptly – 48 hours or less
  • Attend work in process meetings with your Orders in Progress report with updated due dates and any changes.

Client Interaction – Measures of customer service and satisfaction will be based on the following:

  • Acknowledgement of all voice mail and email messages within 4 hours or less
  • Estimates provided within 4 hours or less or per client request/deadline
  • Warm, friendly, professional interaction with clients via the phone or in person
  • Maintaining Customer Satisfaction score of or higher.

Communication – Measures of accountability will include:

  • Monitoring client compliments and complaints
  • Meeting client deadlines on time and with 100% accuracy
  • Monitoring internal client communications by measuring use of checklists, bounce backs, reprints, weekly reports, team meetings and participation in helping the company achieve its goals

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or strong equivalent experience within job responsibilities and duties outlined
  • 2+ years in Project Management, Client Service and/or Inside Sales Experience working with business- to-business and business-to-consumer clients.
  • 2+ years in printing/communications industry or related industry a plus
  • Computer Literate with advanced proficiency in MS Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and the Internet for research.
  • Must have attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • A sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.
  • Must utilize excellent time and priority management skills
  • Business professional appearance, well groomed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in preparing work orders and estimates
  • Good Math skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Consultative Sales Experience or Mindset preferred
  • Experience with inputting and tracking of client data in CRM system and activity logging a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and dependable transportation

Working Conditions:

  • Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time – up to 8 hours or more per day.
  • Appearance at all times must represent the company image.
  • Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Moderate to loud noise level.
  • Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
