Job Description and Responsibilities:

• To provide nursing cares to a special needs patient in their home.
• As well as providing nursing cares to kids during school hours as well.
• Days, Evenings and night shifts are typically 6-12 hours long.
• Private Duty nursing responsibilities may include trach care, ventilator care, suctioning, GTube care, central line care, medication administration, positioning, transfers, CPT, and administration of other cares and treatments.
• Training and education provided.

Qualifications:

Hospital experience appreciated, but not required. We will train! Dependability and good work ethic required. Loves working with children!

CPR certification and current nursing license.

Developing and following plan of care and following through with orders

Performing home visits that include one on one teaching and working with patients and families.

Timely documentation

Empowering patients to care for themselves and their disease processes to the best of their abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $36.50 per hour
