Foth Production Solutions works closely with consumer product companies to solve their toughest technical challenges. We partner with clients to help streamline their capital spending and business decision process, enable operational efficiencies, and launch new products. Foth Production Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Process Designer who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ success. This position can be located Remote, but it will be supporting our Mehoopany, PA; Green Bay, WI; and Box Elder, UT locations and others.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform Process Safety Studies on audited Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) as needed
- Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with others
- Communicate effectively across all levels within organization
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Interact with clients on a regular basis
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Travel as required for field work and/or other client/business objectives (15% annually or less)
- Audit P&IDs in the field and redline as needed
- Execute process/piping design projects according to ISA (Instrument Society of America) standards for P&IDs and PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)
- Prepare design packages using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
- Take field dimensions, gather equipment information, measure equipment, prepare sketches, and develop piping isometrics
- Prepare engineering documentation for construction activities
Required Qualifications:
- Current certification to perform process safety studies at Procter & Gamble (desired), or ability to gain certification required if not already certified
- Knowledge of P&IDs and PFDs related to process systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years of industry relevant experience (process/piping design for industrial projects including design plans, elevations, and isometrics)
- Creating and modifying P&IDs and PFDs
- Designing in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
- Process Safety Certification
Preferred Previous Experience with the Following:
- Revit MEP
- AutoCAD MEP
- Plant 3D
- Paper industry projects
- HVAC ductwork design
- Developing Bill of Materials
- Construction support for an industrial environment
