Role Purpose:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for development and approval of process equipment designs and specifications for all assigned projects. They will have the overall responsibility to ensure the focus on the safety, delivery, and practicality of the process portions of assigned projects. They will manage or supervise management of installations at the plants and mines.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
· Ensure safety considerations are taken in design of all new equipment and installations.
· Develop and approve flowsheets and process specifications
· Develop engineering and design processes
· Focus on delivery and practicality of systems
· Management of design technical queries, their implementation and response
· Provide assistance to operations for process issues within the plants and mines.
· Coordinate process equipment contractors with Project Leads and plant operations.
About you:
· Practical understanding of mineral processing equipment and processes
· Experience in mining and processing facilities
· Experience in project management
· Experience in process engineering for mineral processing facilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,000.00 - $88,690.00 per year
