The Process Improvement Engineer serves as a senior contributor with expertise in Mortgage Servicing business processes that meet Cenlar’s overall Process Improvement obligation. The Engineer, will be responsible for utilizing data and trending analysis results to identify process gaps that improve the borrower experience while reducing cost. In addition the Engineer will partner with internal business units to assist with evaluating and development of operational solutions pertaining to application enhancements, implementation and/or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the successful management of projects, coaching, guiding, and leading teams through implementation of process improvements
• Creates a stronger and more valued end to end process through eliminating waste, strengthening controls, enhancing quality, and reducing cost
• Utilizes data from different applications to complete analysis and identify trends
• Applies change, risk, and resource management principals when needed
• Prioritizes, quantifies, and mitigates risk through thoughtful implementation plans, transforming the operation to a competitive advantage
• Sets priorities, develops a work schedule, and monitors progress towards goals, and tracks details, data, information and activities
• Develops best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production and quality
• Positively influences others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related field required
• 10+ years of experience in Process Improvement methodologies
• Process Improvement certification (e.g., Six Sigma) required
• Proficient in Tableau, SQL, Agile, and Excel
• Experience in leading large Process Management projects across large complex organizations
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent technical skills
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
• Ability to energize an organization through change
