Your Role:
The Procurement Transition Specialist will support the procurement team in the area of contract tracking and reviewing of supplier contracts in the Americas under the supervision of the Indirect Procurement Manager and also support in the validating that supplier information is correct prior to being entered into ekaterra’s new IT systems.
This person should have hand on experience with understanding supplier/3PM contracts to assist the local teams in daily tasks. Experience negotiating and redlining contract commercial terms a plus. This individual should feel comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions without much guidance.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Cross Functional team to implement and execute local contracts are in place for the portfolios.
  • Work with the Legal Counsel to finalize commercial agreements using relevant contractual operating framework of UPAs/STCs etc.
  • Work closely with Supply Partners to ensure compliance to defined Procurement procedures and adhere to the Code of Business Principles.
  • Work in an effective, cohesive team environment (Ability to understand all areas of Procurement).
  • Implementation of local sourcing agreements at assigned site cluster level within the portfolio.
  • Support procurement (both indirect and direct, as required) and data team in data validation of supplier master data, reaching out to suppliers for important documentation.
  • Support Procurement & Other Cross Functional teams by providing timely and accurate assistance on relevant topics and initiatives as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to take ownership over assigned tasks.
  • Project management experience, ability to coordinate and track lists of
suppliers.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be an articulate communicator (verbal and written).
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders (people skills) .
  • Show passion and practical creativity.
  • Competent in Power BI, Office, and SAP Ariba, an asset.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data.
  • Be able to demonstrate influencing skills.
  • Experience in business partnering.
  • Curiosity to use, or suggest adaptions to, new technology.
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Digital aware and capable.
Essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3> years’ experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project management.
  • Experience in supplier or customer relationship management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • University and or professional qualifications related to Business, procure-
ment, or supply chain.
  • Prior experience in Procurement in Food and Beverage Industry.
