WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Specialist, Product Development assists with handing project co-ordination, documenting business requirements, ensuring requirements are in line with overall product strategy, and coordinating release of projects.

• Researches, develops and implements competitive pricing programs and/or banking products and services for various lines of business to appropriately price based on risk, deposit, or credit goals while maintaining profitability.

• Continuously monitors the market and competitor strategies to ensure pricing is in line to provide consumers and/or clients a fair price while maintaining market share and/or deposit levels.

• Plans, directs and facilitates all phases of the pricing strategy changes from inception through introduction into the marketplace.

• Ensures products meet regulatory and industry standards.

• Develops communication for obsolete offerings for key internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Coordinates billing changes as needed.

• Assists in market research, demand forecasting, and competitive analysis as directed by Product Management team.

• Assists in gathering product KPIs for business reviews.

• Assists Product Managers as needed in ongoing product development, including developing sales collateral, writing product documentation, assisting with cost and pricing analysis, and providing other support as directed.

• Coordinates and seeks input with Service Architects and Delivery Engineering teams when needed for Product development or retirements.

• Coordinates annual reviews/updates of proposal documentation.

• Provides updated status on work streams to project managers, program manager, and offering management.

• Assists in developing training material when required.

• Documents processes and workflows and contribute to SharePoint articles.

• Provides input and recommendations on streamlining and improving processes.

• Participates in team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Business or equivalent Technical field.

• Work Experience: 0+ years, Product Development experience

• Working knowledge of SQL database querying

• Proven ability work collaboratively in a team environment

• Ability to manage and uphold departmental standards

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and project management skills

• Process-oriented, detailed and strong aesthetic sensibility

• Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with ability to learn new software
