The successful candidate will join our Product Control team working side-by-side trading, sales, and banking team members and other business leaders to understand their trading strategies and risk position. The desired candidate will play a significant role as a contributing member of Exos' Finance team to ensure all revenues are complete and accurately reported, and trading and financing positions are correctly stated. The Product Controller will work closely with Middle Office Operation to ensure quality trade data and be an active contributor to the strategic development of the firm's technology.

The candidate must be transformative in working across product and functions, including technology development projects for the Finance function, and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. This candidate is also expected to foster a strong culture of risk awareness and control.

Responsibilities:

• Support the production of daily final P&L and balance sheet for the various businesses within the firm. This involves analyzing large movements of P&L and validating results with front office.
• Work alongside the Finance team and desks to in the preparation of the daily flash P&L based on current day activity and market movement to be reported to the firm's senior management
• Assist in the substantiation of balance sheet & income accounts requiring certification within the Product Control team.
• Work to create efficiencies and automation within the daily processes covering flash preparation and final P&L reporting.
• Participate and drive various projects that are directly related to the Product Control mandate, such as the creation of a P&L calculation engine & inventory management systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA/MBA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent position in a financial services organization
• In-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income products and markets
• Knowledge of US GAAP to ensure proper booking of transactions
