HiFyve has a client in Springfield, MO that is hiring for a Product Engineer!

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday
• $75K-$85K+

Details:

• You will be responsible for new product development
• Creating, approving and executing product launch plans
• Development of Bills of Material, including replacement percentage for existing and new components
• Development of FMEA, work instructions, control plans, labor standards, production control documents, specifications, etc.
• Review and approve Change Request, Document Change Notices, RER's and BOM change requests
• Provide direction to the Manufacturing Engineer to determine tooling, specifications, testing, etc. for new product release
• Work with the Manufacturing Engineer to determine capital plan
• Direct PPAP process for new product release. Submit all documents to the Product Engineering Manager for appropriate PPAP approval
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field is required (or 10+ years experience with product engineering in lieu of BS degree will be considered. Associates degree is required).
• Six Sigma Certification is a +
• Ability to develop appropriate assembly and testing processes for products to determine reliability, durability and performance characteristics
• Highly knowledgeable about product and components
