Product Entry Specialist
Omaha, NE

Job Function:

The Listings Representative is responsible for processing quality listings. This position works together with the Sales Team and other Big Iron Departments to integrate and complete all details of an auction listing.

Essential Functions:

1. Verify and accept listings and contracts that are submitted by the Sales team and Independent Sales Representatives (ISR’s).

2. Proofread descriptions for quality, grammar, spelling, and correct categories.

3. Confirm and accept lots for quality photos and descriptions.

4. Publish listings, lot, and featured sellers to the public website.

5. Review and accept corrections made by Sales to the listings and lots.

6. Correspond professionally and positively with Buyers and Sellers.

7. Provide pre- and post-auction support to Account Representatives and National Account Sellers.

8. Verify Seller Statements and communicate auction results to Sellers and follow up with any seller questions.

9. Assist in various Big Iron Departments as needed, and as Listing Department work allows.

10. Maintain all status changes and notification on each listings’ agreement.

11. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and cost savings within the Listings Department.

12. Consult with the Sales Team to confirm that the order maximizes the success of the auction.

13. Reorder the auction as necessary to deal with changes in auction items and allow for requested adjustments to change item spacing to maximize results for buyers and sellers.

14. Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.


Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Associate degree preferred or combination of work-related experience.

2. Agricultural background helpful.


3. Customer service skills both internal and external.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy required.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and other applications used by the Company.
