Primary Purpose

We’re looking for a Product Management Consultant with a track record of success in fast-paced organizations, and a bias for action and in driving results. You know how to create a plan, build consensus and make things happen. Your primary responsibility is helping mentor product managers in driving the product vision, planning, design and execution of innovative solutions that are rooted in user insight and data. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, but can also step back and see the bigger picture. You will be an advocate for great experiences, championing on behalf of our users, and working closely with our product managers to drive customer & business outcomes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Consultant will render to the Company some or all of the following Services on a remote basis and when requested by the Company:

• Product Management activities including, but not limited to, those related to strategic guidance in designing marketing and growth infrastructure and processes, analytics & measurement infrastructure and processes, and user experience
• Product management mentor ship to 2-3 product managers, each with their own respective areas of responsibility
• Assistance in preparing decks and providing insights to manage internal communications and decision making (requires collaborating with multiple team members)
• Assistance ensuring delivery of prioritized items and provide support as needed including story writing, working with designers/ developers
• Participation in ongoing prioritization discussion with key business stakeholders in support of the team of 2 PMs Any other services as mutually agreed by the Company and Consultant.
• Help break down problems and rigorously prioritize and set scope.
• Guide the team to define and analyze metrics that inform product success

Job Requirements – Education/Experience

Education

Required: Bachelors Degree

Experience

Required: 7+ years experience in product management, preferably in enterprise or client facing environments, 3+ years of management experience

Additional Job Requirements

• Works with manager to determine what needs to be escalated.
• Strong organizational and time management skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have flexibility and strong attention to detail.
