Summary:

PlayCore is looking for positive, self-motivated, quality minded, team players to fill our General Associate positions in Paint, HDPE, and Dip Line Department. These individuals will contribute to the manufacture of quality plastic products for our customers. They will ensure product quality and perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate air tools, sanders, grinders, drills, etc.
• Hand product onto conveyor line in the most efficient manner possible.
• Verify product color from information supplied by material handler, leadsman or supervisor.
• Package product per PlayCore specifications.
• Use hand staplers, air staplers and other packaging equipment.
• Responsible for completing 5s around work area.
• Visually inspect product for defects and flaws at each stage of process following guidelines and processes
• Mentor and train new hires and temporary associates to perform proper production standards and processes
• Expected to follow all safety, production, quality, and HR policies and procedures in a safe manner
• Utilize 5S principles to clean, organize, stock, and prepare your area for incoming shift
• Follow specific written and oral instructions.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure (preferred)
• Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to Push/Pull 25 to 30 lb. with moderate frequency.
• Ability to Push/Pull 35 to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime.
