Production Expediting Clerk-Food Manufacturing Job at Masis Staffing
We are searching for an experienced a Production Expediting Clerk for a growing Food Manufacturing client in Lynn.
This is a 1st shift, temp to hire position.
Role Description:
The Production Expediting Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of the plant according to production schedule.
Duties of the Production Expediting Clerk include reviewing and distributing production work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 2-5 years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
· Servsafe or food Service Handler Certification (Preferred)
· General knowledge of most production and processing areas of the plant.(Preferred)
· Experience with purchasing and inventory control
