Skybound (Viltrumite Pants, LLC) is seeking a Production Finance Coordinator (non-union) for our TV animation studio in North Hollywood. The ideal candidate is happy to be part of a team and is willing and able to handle all tasks related to cost reporting, budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll. They are comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working with complex Excel spreadsheets.

Reports: This position will report to the Production Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Assist with weekly crew, talent, and freelance payroll (839, SAG-AFTRA, Non-Union)
• Collect, review, and maintain contracts and other paperwork to facilitate accounting responsibilities
• Accounts payable for production such as, but not limited to: setting up vendors, auditing tax information, paying invoices, and tracking milestones
• Prepare bank reconciliations and run reports to fulfill month-end deliverables
• Post expenses and book journal entries with supporting backup, ensuring that correct account codes are utilized, and transactions are accurately explained
• Help track vacation, holiday, and sick time for production crew

• Ability to read budgets and reference contracts
• Adept knowledge of Excel
• Handles confidential information with a high degree of discretion and good judgment
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Highly organized and comfortable performing duties in a timely manner
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• Professional in all interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors, and others
• Understanding of finance and business administrations
• Familiarity with Entertainment Partners (SmartStart/SmartTime/SmartAccounting/VPO) is a plus

Job Type: Exempt, Full-Time

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000

• Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc
• The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees
• Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
