Position Summary: Primarily involved in breaking down loads for the batch furnaces. Will also be involved in helping the continuous furnace operators and completing miscellaneous jobs throughout the shop.
Responsibilities
Verify that all operations listed on the Job Card have been completed.
Obtain proper containers and maintain traceability of product/paperwork throughout process.
Weigh/count empty containers prior to placing parts in container.
Obtain the correct number of samples for inspection and provide parts/paperwork to lab.
Place parts in container according to job card instructions.
Weigh/count full containers prior to moving containers to proper hold area.
Apply Rust Inhibitor per job card instructions.
Be able to identify non-conforming product with respect to job duties.
Work area kept neat and trash removed each shift.
Operate forklift truck as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bending - Frequently
Pulling & Pushing
Lifting up to 50 pounds - Occasionally (hoist available)
Lifting over 50 pounds - Occasionally (hoist available)
