BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible to oversee the entire production process and ensure that manufacturing objectives are established and met. The position focuses on continuously improving our process in the key result areas of quality, service, cost, and personnel.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
Establish leadership and set the strategic direction for the manufacturing team. Ensure necessary plans are in place to deliver the required business results while developing a culture of ownership and accountability.
Interpret safety policies/practices to employees including enforcing safe work practices.
Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
Must be able to drive improvements in manufacturing processes. Must be able to put new systems and procedures in place while instilling accountability and ownership in a rapidly changing environment
Must comply with and support the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP, HACCP, LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by House of Raeford.
Must be able to perform other related duties as assigned. This position can involve weekend, night shift, and on call duties.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have strong leadership skills with proven outcomes in developing teams. Inventory control, reporting skills, analyzing information. 7-10 years Production Supervision or Quality Assurance experience preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma with relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
