Full Job Description

PURPOSE

Responsible for general supervision and management of operations. Maintaining proper supervision and labor to support the operation. Creation of meaningful operational goals and responsible for the meeting of those goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· Creation and maintenance of all operational procedures and programs

· Maintaining proper employment levels of the operation, to ensure capability to meet customer requirements without excessive overtime

· Generation of weekly and monthly operational metric reports

· Assist and coordinate activities and projects with Ramco Specialties operational and technical departments

· Assist in the maintenance of the company’s quality management system, as well as with customer-specific requirements for processes and products

· Coordination with accounting and other internal departments, for the creation of division budget

· Review and justification of significant departmental variances, as well as continual actions to reduce unplanned expenses

· Behave in a safe and professional manner at all times. Maintain a cooperative attitude toward other employees and keep a mind-set that always considers the best long-term interests of the company.

· Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS listed below are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required being successful in this position.

1. 10+ years of management experience, of a company/division with greater than 20 employees

2. 5 years experience in automotive, agriculture, or aerospace component manufacturing industries

3. Two (2) years experience in CNC/screw machine or similar batch/work order manufacturing operation

4. Excellent organization and communication skills

5. Experience with ERP systems

6. Proficient in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
