Roles include: Inspectors, Coilers, Material Handlers, and other roles associated with finishing product. Machine Operators, such as Mixing Operators or Hosebuilders

  • Hosebuilder duties include operating and adjusting extruders and braider decks to make rubber tube and reinforce hose.
  • Mixing Operators operate machinery to produce rubber compound to specification as defined by a schedule. Inspection to ensure conformance to work order specification is included in machine operator responsibilities.
  • Material Handlers operate equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, walkie-riders, and material tuggers to supply other team members with rubber compound or partially produced hose.
  • Coilers follow assembly, packaging, processing, and inspection instructions to fit customer specifications. These individuals also perform quality inspections to ensure documentation is completed.


Production work preferred but not required.

  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Good math, reading, writing skills
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product
  • Strong trouble shooting skills
  • Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
