We are currently seeking qualified applicants for an entry level production employee to be located in our Macon, Georgia plant. The hourly pay rate for beginning operator positions is $18.30 + shift differential. We operate three 8 hour shifts and applicants must be willing to work when needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring that the proper tape is on each roll.
- Stocking tape for changeovers
- Separating first and second-class material
- Monitoring weight, width and communicate to team leader
- Adding cores to rolls
- Keeping 5S board stocked
- General housekeeping of the area
- Following all procedures and JSA's for winder
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong comprehension skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work flexible schedule to include overtime
- Willingness to work in non-temperature-controlled environment
