Scope:
- The Production Operator will work in various departments including but not limited to Lamination, Back Drill, Drill, and Special Ops. The operator will work our 4th shift schedule which runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00am - 6:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn how to run multiple pieces of equipment in the Lamination, Drill, Back Drill, Special Ops, and other departments as needed.
- Ability to work as a team member in problem solving teams- looking for a positive, forward looking attitude.
- Verify proper material and processes were followed according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to supervisors’ safety hazards and issues.
- Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend English written instructions, including manufacturing work orders, customer specifications, blueprints, and shop control documents.
- Quality centered mindset with strong attention-to-detail, mathematical, and technical aptitude.
- Manual dexterity (hand/finger/eye coordination) is essential to the Machine Operator job.
- Have good reading vision, color discrimination, and hearing perception.
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment that includes machinery, moving parts, noise, and chemicals.
- General computer skills and ability to update electronic records, enter data into systems, and send emails.
- Quality centered mindset with strong attention-to-detail, mathematical, and technical aptitude.
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
- Able to sit or stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 10-40-pounds.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work independently, strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position
Education and Experience:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment desired.
