Job Description

The Scheduler is responsible for analyzing, coordinating and scheduling production to ensure timely deliveries and proper inventory levels, as well as project scheduling to ensure all critical dates are met for the project. This individual will communicate with all manufacturing areas to facilitate efficient production while establishing priorities and giving input to supervisors and managers. This person needs to be a high powered, high energy, experienced production scheduler (millwork is a huge plus), that is tech savvy and able to see the big picture so to speak.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with Production, Logistics and other key internal stakeholders to exchange / provide information and ideas to develop scheduling plans that maximize efficiency and productivity to meet customer requirements
Works closely with the Project Management team to ensure all critical dates are updated, maintained, and on track with project needs
Participates in planning and establishing overall production objectives based on customer demand. Attends weekly meetings to review planned schedule.
Supports analysis of shop capacity data and makes independent observations and recommendations of production schedule
Continuously monitors production through short-internal controls (i.e. monitoring of raw material utilization) to identify and/or anticipate potential barriers to completion of orders as planned all other duties as assigned.
