OVERVIEW:

In this exciting and challenging role, you will lead a team whose primary responsibilities focus on inventory planning for all Harvey Performance brands. The function contributes to demand planning for internal manufacturing sites as well as purchasing management for finished goods, in addition to outsourcing suppliers to ensure that we are providing best-in-class service to our customers.

POSITION DETAILS:

As a Production Planning Manager, you will:

• Oversee current planning tools and reports to provide insights and recommendations of operational efficiency and performance enhancements.
• Modify planning methodologies and collaborate with the team to support overall corporate inventory, cost, efficiency and service goals by brand and product.
• Work with cross-functional teams and site leaders to optimize inventory planning methodology to support efficient manufacturing scheduling and workflow.
• Support sales teams when planning for exceptional customer forecasts and opportunities.
• Assists in the resolution of supply chain and/or production planning discrepancies.
• Maintain monthly KPIs that monitor and summarize inventory quality and demand fluctuations.
• Provide ad hoc data analysis as needed by synthesizing data to draw relevant and insightful conclusions.
• Support the maintenance and updates of ERP data to ensure accuracy (ie. Purchase class updates).
• Assists in the facilitation, design, and improvement of an enterprise SIOP process.
• Create training and offer guidance/coaching to SIOP participants and functional owners.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement, scheduling, inventory planning and/or distribution experience.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing quantitative data.
• A desire to attain proficiency in SQL with willingness to learn queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
• Prior experience with ERP and / or MRP systems. Prophet21 and Epicor Experience a plus.
• Six Sigma/Lean experience a plus.
