South Jersey Produce Distributor is seeking a full-time Production Assistant Manager.

This leadership role is a front line floor supervisory position responsible for production, real time labor allocation, and enforcement of quality standards. The assistant manager helps oversee a production team of up to 120 associates and directs daily operations including but not limited to scheduling, inventory control, associate training, food safety and sanitation.

Qualified candidates must have:

• 2-4 years of leadership experience
• Computer skills.
• Assertive, flexible and capable of independent decision making.
• Excellent communications skills are necessary as this position interacts with all other operational and sales departments.
• Functional Spanish skills are also required.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and GAP standards are a plus

This is a full-time, year-round position requiring both first and second shift availability as well as weekends.
