Transglobal Door in Upper Sandusky, Ohio is currently looking for a reliable Production Scheduler.

Job description

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products throughout all phases of production. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing orders and customer purchase orders for the manufacturing team to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining schedules.
• Creating long-term and short-term production schedules
• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
• Review production specifications and identify and report plant capacity constraints.
• Ensure that materials are prearranged for production.
• Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers
• Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Work with Manager to plan and coordinate production schedules.
• Develop weekly production status reports for Manager.
• Generate production reports to Managers for critical decision-making purposes.
• Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Manager to develop and execute production plan.
• Work with Managers to develop potential solutions to improve production performance.
• Managing multiple simultaneous production schedules
• Ensuring production teams meet critical deadlines
• Providing constructive feedback to team members
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software applications. (Microsoft Project and Excel required)
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.
• Very highly organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
