Job Description: Seeking ambitious and qualified individual to work on our automated fluid packaging line in Waterloo, IA. This position is part of a team responsible for all activities related to the filling and packaging of containers.

Primary responsibilities will include/require:

• Operation of various production and packaging line / filling equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
• Continual monitoring of equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Continual monitoring of packages to ensure they meet quality criteria.
• Proper and timely completion of all process related paperwork.
• Mechanical skills for machine changeover activities and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to continually improve skills and processes.
• Other tasks and duties as needed/assigned.

This position will typically require a working schedule in excess of 40 hours per week. Facility currently operates first shift, Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Overtime will be allowed at the discretion of management based on production and delivery needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required with advanced industrial or mechanical degree and field experience preferred.
• Experience with computer controlled and pneumatic automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC) and automated material handling systems is beneficial.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Fork truck experience preferred.
• Capable of physically demanding work (i.e. ability to repeatedly lift 25 to 60 pound packages).
• Possess good communication skills and work ethic.
• Mandatory pre-employment physical & drug-screen.
