Production Technician Job at Hunter Hamilton
Growing electronics manufacturer is looking for a 2nd shift Production Technician for their location in Woodridge. The Production Technician is responsible for troubleshooting production test failures to root cause and repairing the product-you would be troubleshooting down to the component level and ensuring compliance to IPC-A-610 standards. You would be working with production, engineering and quality to bring new products to production and continually improve processes.
They are a large organization with a small/family-oriented feel. People are great, nice facility, good processes and systems. Their products are technically fascinating. This is a temporary to hire opportunity with full-time medical benefits offered during the temporary duration. 2nd shift hours M-Friday. 5-8 hour shifts(flexible with 2pm-3:30pm start time until 10:30pm-12am)
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technologies required
- PCB repair experience down to the component level
- Previous experience within an electronic manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics
