Serves a vital role in advancing the mission and agenda of the Department Executive and Professional Education by strengthening business community partnerships and meeting with existing and prospective business partners.

  • Collaborate in identifying strategic partnerships with external clients to create new revenue streams to include, but not limited to, the development of new programs, markets, consulting services, grant-funded special projects and the monetization of research capabilities of the Business Faculty.
  • Ensures partnerships align with the unit's strategic priorities and goals.
  • Contributes to success of program execution with appropriate FIU stakeholders.
  • Creates operational efficiency around partnerships while ensuring program commitments that are sustainable and scalable.
  • Serves as an FIU representative throughout the greater business community while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages and maintains prospects and opportunities pipeline to achieve annual revenue goals and performance metrics.
  • Stays current on corporate and organizational development trends, including talent development, skill gaps, and professional-development trends.
  • Develops and implements a sales plan to ensure maximum revenue. Prepares sales reports, proposals and sales forecasts.
  • Conducts research on prospective clients. Generates sales through client leads and community development.
  • Works closely with the unit's team to ensure an optimum customer-service experience for the clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field and six (6) years of related work experience or Master's degree in business, education, or related field and four (4) years of related work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of talent development or organizational development.
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales methodologies.
  • Management experience.
