Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager (Sr. PM) oversees the Program Management Team and will proactively manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects, including client interaction and expectations. This position's main duties include supervising all Project Managers and indirectly supervising all off-site contract employees. Additionally, the Sr. PM will consistently challenge each aspect of the project management process to improve revenue and profit margin.
Major Responsibilities
- Oversight and Management of Program Managers, Project Managers, and other Project Staff.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
- Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.
- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
- Draft new and improve existing project management office policies and processes.
- Ensure project management standards are being executed across the project portfolio.
- Drive improvements into the PMO program and ensure industry best practices are leveraged.
