Classification Full Time/ Exempt Starting Salary $65,000- $70,000 (plus 13.2% Employer Paid contribution to a 401(a) Plan)

The mission of the Workforce Training Fund is to provide Massachusetts businesses with the resources to invest in their workforce and improve employee skills, and to maintain the economic strength and viability of the Commonwealth's businesses. TheProgram Marketing Manager will develop and execute a marketing strategy that successfully engages Massachusetts employers in applying for incumbent worker training grants or accessing other resources to support the development of their workforce. The primary focus of marketing of these programs is small businesses, particularly minority or women-owned enterprises with a need to invest in upskilling employees.

The Program Marketing Manager will:

  • Develop and execute program marketing campaigns in tandem with the Marketing & Communications team and with guidance from Program Director(s)/Associate Director(s)
  • Perform competitive research to understand what's happening in the market and incorporate your findings into each campaign for better results.
  • Conduct analysis to determine the effectiveness of each marketing campaign, and report key findings to stakeholders.
  • Lead info sessions, product demos, and outreach presentations remotely and in person to engage and inform potential grant recipients, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver communications content and campaigns to successfully engage minority-owned enterprises, women-owned enterprises, and organizations owned by other underserved populations who may be eligible for workforce development resources.
  • Under the direction of the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications, develop and maintain web and social media content
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
  • Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of relevant programs and provide direct customer support to those engaged, in coordination with program staff engaged in support and technical assistance of grant applicants and grant recipients.
  • Work with other team members to identify trends and help design solutions for recurring questions and customer support issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of CommCorp programsand direct interested parties to additional resources and other sources of information.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • This is a role that includes significant time supporting customers. We are seeking a team member with customer service experience and who enjoys working with customers to get to a positive resolution.
  • Qualified candidates should be dependable, resourceful, enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented, disciplined, and highly organized.
  • Excellent technology skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, and Word as well as experience with CRM databases such as Salesforce; FreshDesk experience a plus.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Interest and ability to adapt the responsibilities associated with this position in a growing and transitioning program.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize when handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success with business-to-business marketing focusing on engaging diverse business audiences, highly preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience are required.
  • Experience consistently maintaining top-notch customer service.
  • Knowledge and experience with Human Centered Design principles are preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of academic coursework and professional experience required.
  • Excellent English written/verbal communication skills and ability to deliver effective public presentations; bilingual strongly preferred. Use of Spanish, Portuguese, and simplified Chinese are most relevant.
  • Comfort and ability to adopt new technologies; experience with design tools (Canva), Social Media Platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), Email Marketing (Constant Contact) and CRM (Salesforce) preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation for in-state travel are required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
