Summary:Assist in complete apartment upgrades and other initiatives and projects. Provide support to other departments for information requests as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Facilities Department apartment upgrade process
  • Work with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to identify, scope, estimate, contract and implement apartment upgrades
  • Develop renovations packages and menus with expected costs for broad-based implementation
  • Work with Design Director on finishes and other design elements
  • Source appropriate materials (cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, appliances, flooring, etc.) and negotiate programs and pricing as appropriate
  • Work with Regional Facilities Managers to estimate pricing for apartment upgrades and incorporate into internal analysis
  • Develop project scope and job specifications for approved renovations programs
  • Work with Regional Facilities Managers on samples, bid process, contractor selection, negotiations and job contracting
  • Develop job meeting script to properly communicate project expectations to and of all parties; adjust to be project specific as needed
  • Adjust/update company renovations policies and procedures as needed
  • Review project progress regularly to ensure progress targets are being met; encourage and build use of production schedules
  • Review unit selections and adjust/influence as necessary
  • Complete regular reporting and tracking of project progress
  • Work to ensure business plan goals and targets are met
  • Review invoicing, amenity tags and other accounting elements as needed; conduct audits as needed
  • Participate in due diligence process for pro forma renovations design and estimating

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years insurance, financial or property management related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of construction experience with a focus on interior renovations
  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing installations
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
