About the Position
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Military Planning team in our Huntsville, AL location (hybrid work permitted). The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of related experience.
Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers with coordinating, organizing, monitoring, archiving and administering project-related documents, schedules and budgets for successful execution of Federal planning and programming projects. Provide administrative support required for overall project execution, create internal and external meeting agendas and meeting minutes, assemble project graphics and drawings, assist with analysis and narrative development, assist in development of project schedules and work plans, schedule training and travel accommodations for project team members, assist with project cost accounting and invoicing, manage sub-consultants, and track multiple planning and programming projects simultaneously. Limited Travel may be required.

Qualifications
- Accredited degree in planning, architecture, engineering, design, project management, or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional related experience (internship experience is applicable). Candidates possessing a master’s degree in a related field or professional training/certification in Project Management may substitute professional related experience.
Knowledge & Experience
- Effective communication and strong technical writing, proofing / editing skills are critical.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat. Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
- Ability to track and actively work on multiple projects or issues simultaneously.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize activities and responsibilities, anticipate next steps and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of master planning; understanding of requirements for federal facilities, including DoD and non-DoD agencies, is a plus.
- Understanding of Project Management processes and principles is a plus.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with internal and external clients.
