Job Description:

The Project Engineer will focus on all outgoing deliverables, submittals, drawings, RFIs, change orders, correspondence and supplemental agreements for review/approval to the client.The Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager (PM). The ideal candidate will perform the tasks described below independently and with minimal guidance from the PM.

Duties:

·Maintain Submittals and RFIs.

·Receive submittals, drawings, RFIs, change orders, correspondence and supplemental agreements from contractors and submit them for review/approval.

·Evaluate and analyze all submissions for their completeness and timeliness, and notify the appropriate party/parties of any anomalies or of situations requiring resolution.

·Process outgoing correspondence, material, and transmittals to ensure completeness and correctness for format, spelling and grammar in compliance with pertinent procedures and regulation for signature by the Program Manager (PM).

·Initiate and prepare routine administrative correspondence for signature by the PM.

·Maintain project records and files for task orders issued under this contract.

·Produce daily and weekly reports on RFIs and submittals to the PM.

·Prepare correspondence as necessary to respond to subcontractors and clients; confirm project matters, etc.

·Document all actions taken and decisions made during the course of a project to build an accurate project history and for future reference.

·Assist PM in scheduling meetings with subcontractors to discuss and review projects progress, discuss problems, and resolve issues as necessary.

·Ensures that all documents required for project close-out are submitted by the Sub Contractor at the conclusion of each construction project.

Requirements:

·Must have US Work Authorization. Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent experience)

·Competency with various Project Controls software

·Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
