Position: Project Estimator II

Job Type: Intermediate, Full-Time, Day Shift

Salary Range: $60,00/annually + Commission

The Projects Estimator is primarily responsible for the developing bid proposals & submitting it to General contractors. The Project Estimator focuses on the development of vendor relationships all while maintaining the current & established vendor relationships. Within this position, you will work closely with the VP of Sales and the Senior Project Estimator to help ensure the timely and successful delivery of proposals, contracts & solutions in accordance with the general contractor’s requirements & objectives.

This is an intermediate full-time position with the potential of growth. Within this position, you have the potential to earn between 75k- 150k (including commision) should you meet you required goals. We are willing to develop & train you in order to meet our business needs!

Job Duties:

· Upload required documentation into Take-Off Software.

· Complete Take-Off quantities per plans, specs, addendums and RFI’s.

· Request quotes on material to be priced throughout the duration of the project.

· Construct a bid proposal based on take-off quantities and quoted material prices.

· Meet all General Contractor’s deadlines in a timely manner

· Develop & Submit bid proposals all while follow up on any previously bid projects/proposals.

· Operate as a point of contact for all assigned customers.

· Provide successful delivery of solutions in accordance with the customer’s needs and objectives.

· Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with both the team & the GC.

· Periodically travel to job sites in order to accurately construct a bid proposal.

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 Years of Estimating Experience (Construction Experience Helps)
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills that includes written & Verbal
  • Understanding of Technology and Quick to Learn Attitude of the Unknown
  • Able to work both independently & a in team environment
  • Outgoing and Approachable personality
  • Ability to read Blueprints/plans is a plus!

Experience & Education:

· High School Diploma Required

· Bachelor’s Degree optional

· Experience in Construction Estimating preferred, put not required

· Experience with the Take-Off software preferred, but not required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Ability to Learn
  • Construction Experience is a plus!
