We are looking to bring on a dependable, strategic Project Estimator to join our team. We serve in Washington, D.C. metro area with plans to expand to more states on the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a team-based enviorment in the healthcare, senior living, hospitality, retail, higher-education and commercial construction fields
• Prepare, interpret, and present project budgets, prepare conceptual cost models, and responsible for final bidding and purchasing of both competitive bid and negotiated rate projects
• Review project drawings and specifications to determine material quantities, labor requirements, and total cost pricing analysis from preconstruction budgeting through final construction documents
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs of assigned divisions to reconcile subcontractors and suppliers' proposals with project requirements
• Develop an understanding for various building construction types including structural systems, building skin and exterior systems, various finishes, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Attend and conduct pre-bid, kick-off meetings and site visits to assess the conditions of sites and existing completeness.
• Solicits and receives subcontractor bids, reviewing for scopes of work and pircing for completeness
• Able to manage multiple estimates/projects concurrently and work with multiple teams of subcontractors, project managers, superintendents and senior management
• Develop and maintain good relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial project estimating experience (Restaurant construction experience is preferred)
• Excellent Organization & Time Management Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Familiarity with construction management & office software including Excel, MS Word, Procore, Timberline, and Timberscan

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
