We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for all project management activities in support of a large project with scope including marketing, data analytics, and technology. You will also support the ongoing improvement of company project management resources, certifications, and other company leadership initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the technical team working on marketing, social media analytics, data strategy, and data analytics
• Cross collaborate with other PMs and the Program Manager on similar projects
• Manage contract budgets, scope, schedule, and ensure timely execution, while monitoring risks, supporting resource staffing needs
• Lead teams with accountability for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance
• Establish trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term partnerships
• Serve on proposal teams for identified pursuits and provide support in the area of marketing and bid strategy, as needed

Job requirements of the position:

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager on marketing, technology, and/or data analytics projects
• Significant experience working at the U.S. Department of State
• Provide leadership, advice, and guidance in a timely fashion to the team and customers, manage budgets and forecasting, and coach staff simultaneously
• Facilitate inter/intra company teamwork to achieve business goals while promoting a culture of common purpose
• Thorough understanding of project budgets and staffing, including recognizing achievements and areas where change may be necessary
• Expert understanding of project management documentation (based on PM-BOK)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, solving problems for the team and clients and creating trusted long-term relationships with clients
• Creativity, resourcefulness and the use of original ideas
• Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision · Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with federal government contracting and clients
• Proven capability to strategically grow and maintain customer and teaming partner relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
