Esports Project Manager

We’re looking for a contract-based Project Manager who is passionate about video games, traditional sports, esports and broadcasting! The project manager works directly with key stakeholders throughout the planning and execution phases of all projects while managing internal and external resources for events, productions and online activations. This person also provides the leadership and motivation needed to exceed both internal and external client expectations and upholds professionalism in all areas.

What You’ll Do

• managing project timelines, expectations, milestones, and deliverables for client events;
• Creating, maintaining and monitoring project schedules, plans and actions to ensure timely delivery of all projects;
• acting as the central point of contact and communication between internal teams and external clients;
• Organizing, attending and participating in meetings. The PM must run and/or facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute notes to all team members and clients.
• sending weekly status reports and checking in on all open action items. Identifying all risks and issues every week;
• coordinating and following-up on tasks and assignments with internal and external teams;
• determining project roles of team members based on project requirements, and timeframes as required;
• ensuring internal teams are consistently apprised of ongoing updates/changes/progress;
• Assessing and communicating project risks, issues and providing solutions where applicable;
• assisting with tournament operations as needed;
• providing on-site support to internal and external teams during live events;
• such other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• 1+ Year experience in a project management role
• Strong customer service skills with professional demeanor
• Exceptional collaboration, communication and time-management skills
• Highly organized, diplomatic and adaptive, with the ability to work calmly and professionally under pressured, time sensitive deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables, managing multiple clients at a time, with the flexibility to adjust to fluctuating deadlines while meeting and exceeding goals
• Must be proactive and a self-starter with the ability to push deadlines
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends

Pluses

• 1+ year working in the video game, esports or traditional sports industry preferred but not required
• Experience in an administrative role
• Passion for video games, and working knowledge of esports
• Experience with setting up travel and accommodations
• Experience in game, entertainment or tv production company

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
