Join us to become a key partner to Holcim’s US cement corporate project management and engineering team.

This position can be located in various sites throughout the US; living close to an airline carrier hub is a plus. National travel required up to 40% in the US.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all corporate safety and management policies are adhered to.
  • Engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Projects:
    • Delivers industrial construction, renovation and expansion projects from concept to start up on time, within budget and with zero harm.
    • Leads the feasibility concepts and provides technical expertise relating to cost and schedule estimations relating to funding requests
    • Overall responsibility with the planning, execution, and control of each project in particular with regard to:
      • Project objectives, schedule and budget.
      • Project engineering, construction and administration.
      • Project quality considerations
      • Project QA/QC: Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
      • Project resources (internal and external).
      • Project communication.
      • Project risks.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with strong working knowledge of plant industrial and/or process equipment, electrical and control components.
Required Work Experience: 7-10 years with projects of +$5M in process industries, e.g. cement, power generation, oil and gas
Required Training/Certifications: PMP certification is a plus
Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office, Project Management software, SAP and AutoCAD
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 40% nationally

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
