What you will be responsible for:

  • Work cross-functionally to lead product and process development of complex technologies and ensure efficient and effective implementation into a production environment.
  • Focused on project management and associated project deliverables to support objectives of quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Provide guidance to others related to the functional deliverables associated with new product development projects.
  • Understand, apply, and disseminate complex or ambiguous customer requirements into actionable product development plans.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts all aspects of project reviews.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality system, contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Interacts and collaborates with customers to effectively support and recommend appropriate studies, improvements and risk assessments for their products or technology.
  • Establishes and cultivates a network of support (design, quality, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate completion of assignments.
  • Based on knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process predict technical interactions and provide contingency plans to mitigate project risks.

What you need...*
Experience/Education:

  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
  • The individual will have experience leading high impact projects from a project management perspective. Preference will be given to individuals with formal project management certification.
  • Proven track record of delivering project milestones related to cost, timeline, and quality.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Working knowledge of English (verbal and written) is required.
  • Ability to resolve inter-project technology and resource conflicts within the function.
  • Demonstrated strong financial acumen and uses this knowledge to influence short- and long-term financial decisions of key projects, including capital expenditures.
  • Exhibits effective communication (verbal and written) with functional managers, project leaders, co-workers, and customers. Including the ability effectively summarize and communicate technical information to internal and external customers.
  • Fully proficient at documenting processes, process validations, qualifications, protocols, reports (technical and non-technical), and test methods.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with risk identification, risk mitigation, and risk management related to project success.
  • Proficient in project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to coach and develop employees on business systems, policies, and procedures.
