As a Project Manager supporting Digital Health team, you will be trusted to work on managing ALCON Digital Health Smart Solutions integration and implementations including Alcon Vision Suite products. Representing outstanding service as a liaison between Alcon customers, associates, and partners. The Project Manager is the primary owner of the ALCON Digital Health Smart Solutions integration customer journey checklist, technical surveys, and all project documentation. Each Digital Health integration must provide the customer an outstanding customer experience.
- Ensure customer readiness by following best practices set by Global PMI Leader – Operational Readiness Design and customer workflow.
- Responsible for project ownership, risk management, change management, issue tracking and escalation, project status and documentation.
- Identify, evaluate, and support opportunities to improve a variety of systems and initiatives critical to DHS Smart Suite and AVS success.
- Manage day-to-day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract. Specifically: Work closely with the Customer, Order Management Specialist, Manufacturing, and Field Teams (e.g., Install, Clinical Application Specialists, Sales) to remotely coordinate the delivery and installation process ensuring timely execution of assigned installation projects.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Implement Customer SOW (Statement of Work) for each DHS Smart Suite project.
- Experienced with MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Project or other Project Management tool.
- Ability to manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction, and contractual commitments
- Maintain alignment between the project team and external resources.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
- PMP certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Medical industry.
- 5 years of experience leading multiple, complex implementation projects.
- 5 years of experience supporting Medical Devices.
- 3 years of experience supporting hospital Network and Firewall requirements.
- Solid understanding of cloud technology.
- 3-5 years software industry experience.
- Complete understanding of PMI project phases.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
