Project Manager, Health Equity Job at BronxCare Health System
BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital, now has an excellent opportunity for a on-site Project Manager in its Department of Health Equity. This department is taking on a key leadership role in the development, implementation, and oversight of innovative health equity programs and initiatives that are succeeding in addressing health disparities within the community. Responsibilities for this important position involve interfacing with community-based organizations to develop joint programs, as well as providing educational and outreach initiatives. Directing the technological implementation of health equity projects, collaborating with other hospital departments in developing educational and training programs, and working with geographically disbursed team members are essential components of this position. Additional responsibilities encompass managing clinical change requests, reviewing project readiness for go-live, and compiling, analyzing, and reporting relevant data.
A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), PMM (Project Management) Certification, and prior Project Management experience are required. Information technology knowledge, understanding of health care issues, and proven ability to work as a productive team member are also essential.
