Project Manager - Site and Utility Excavation Job at Interlaken, Inc.
Interlaken, Inc. is a growing, Certified WBE/DBE Site and Utility Excavation firm seeking a full time Project Manager. Our office is located in West Gresham with projects throughout the greater Portland/Metro area. Projects range from 100K to 4M.
Candidates must be well spoken, calm under pressure and possess the ability to properly manage the coordination of a project from start to finish.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a positive attitude, self-starter, excellent organizational skills and someone that values a team effort. We are a fun place to work with a highly motivated management team that knows how to have a good time and get the job done.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience of heavy/civil construction projects including excavation, grading, underground utilities and road construction. Ideal candidate would have project experience that includes a diverse range of private, municipal, federal and State DOT projects and projects completed both as a prime and subcontractor.
- BA/BS Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience
- Proficient with the following computer programs:
- Heavy Bid Estimating Software
- OnCenter OnScreen Takeoff Software
- Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.)
- Microsoft Project Software
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting Software
RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but not limited to the following
- Submittal Management & Tracking
- Change Order Request Creation and Tracking
- RFI Management and Tracking
- Schedule Creation, Distribution and Maintenance
- Solicitation and tracking of multiple quotes per trade from different subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring scope coverage
- Creation and Maintenance of Electronic and Hard Copy Job Files and Folders
- Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination and Material Procurement
- Able to Attend Job Site Walk Through
