Property Manager Job at Garden Communities NJ
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the community. This position oversees all site personnel, resident relations, customer service, community maintenance/contracted services, administration, reporting, community safety, and legal compliance, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all personnel: hire and terminate employees; employee relations management; mentor, motivate, supervise, and develop employees; track staff attendance and overtime
- Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures
- Responsible for all resident relations: manage concerns/complaints; oversee general communications; event coordination; etc
- Bid-out and oversee vendor/contractor relations, and maintenance of contracts
- Walking vacant units and continually assessing building/property needs
- Schedule and attend all required inspections
- Review and code bills appropriately
- Coordinates turnovers, make-readies and move-out process
- Complete/Analyze weekly/monthly reporting as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, preferred
- At least 3 years experience in a supervisory role, required
- Hands-on mentality
- Bilingual, a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Willing to work on-call in cases of emergency
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, a plus
- Must have professionalism and excellent customer service skills
- Strong organization skills and follow-through
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills a must
