This is a remote position and the range is $60,000 to $80,000 depending on depth of knowledge and experience

SUMMARY:

The Proposal Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for technical, skilled, and unskilled personnel for current government proposal opportunities as well as building a pipeline for upcoming contract awards. Responsibilities include developing recruiting strategies, posting job advertisements, screening/interviewing candidates, and work with a sense of purpose and urgency to attract and hire the highest caliber of talent. The individual in this role must have hands on recruitment and sourcing experience specifically in attracting both passive and active candidates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and balance both the technical requirements and business needs of each position as related to proposals and upcoming new contracts.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to find and attract the right candidates.
  • Commitment to developing and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers as well as candidates and ensuring a great experience for everyone involved in the recruiting process.
  • Keep accurate notes of candidates and positions throughout the process and update reports accordingly.
  • Extend and negotiate offers of employment and/or LOI's to selected candidates.
  • Flexible, consultative, team-oriented, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems (ADP and/or ClearCompany is a plus).
  • Proficient in the use of job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Clearance Jobs, etc.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work on different initiatives and complete within a timely manner.
  • Ability to effectively manage frequently changing priorities and business needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience as a recruiter.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical recruiting
  • Must have experience sourcing candidates for government contracts and proposals.
  • Must have government contracting experience, specifically recruiting positions requiring security clearances.
