The Opportunity

The Provider Recruiter II will be responsible for translating business needs and objectives into an actionable recruitment strategy to build and maintain the medical group supporting the world’s global leader in telemedicine. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Teladoc Health, including Regional Practice Leadership, Credentialing, Provider Relations, Provider Enrollment, and other departments to ensure that Teladoc Health has a robust clinical network to support our members’ health care needs. He/she will identify and close gaps in the clinical network through active and passive recruitment strategies and to will actively promote an exceptional candidate experience throughout the engagement, credentialing, and onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and employing optimized strategies to source, post, network and market provider opportunities for provider recruitment for all service lines/specialties
  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge of focused reciurtment sourcing/candidate identification tactics using a variety of outlets such as healthcare databases, referrals, advertsements, job fairs, and other social media platforms.
  • Maintains working knowledge of all clinical telehealth service lines offered by Teladoc Health to ensure ability to communicate effectively with provider candidates using product and process knowledge
  • Ensure development and maintenance of robust clinical network in partnership with Clinical Network and Care Delivery teams to attract and retain clinicians with demonstrated clinical quality and commitment to member experience..
  • Partner with cross organizational stakeholders (e.g., Credentialing, Provider Relations, Provider Enrollment, Training, and Regional Practice Leadership) to deliver on a positive provider candidate experience.
  • Maintain current knowledge of licensing and credentialing requirements established by Teladoc Health, as well as knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Meet recruitment targets for employed and contracted providers established by Teladoc Health annual operating plan.
  • Guides all provider recruitment activities in a manner that conforms to applicable laws. Recruits within legal and corporate guidelines

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years experience as a full-cycle multi specialty provider recruiter, with preference for experience in ambulatory, medical group, and/or telemedicine settings with demonstrated success track record.
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness with all levels of leadership and all types of providers (e.g., physician, advanced practice providers, etc)
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines under pressure while concurrently demonstrating a highly collaborative interpersonal approach.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of recruitment tools such as external job boards, applicant tracking systems, and social media sources, as well as Microsoft Office products.
  • Occasional travel required (~10%).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) certification highly preferred

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
