Maimonides Medical Center Department of Psychiatry is currently seeking a staff psychologist for our adult outpatient psychiatry service. You will join a team of dedicated professionals partnering with a diverse population of patients to improve mental health and well-being. In addition to clinical care, Maimonides has a supportive academic culture in which our psychologists take pride in teaching and supervising psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and psychology externs. Our well-established, APA-accredited psychology internship program recruits six interns yearly. Additionally, our psychology externship program recruits four externs each year. Staff psychologists are also encouraged to participate in didactics training and research in their areas of expertise and interest.

This Staff Psychologist position requires the following:

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Current NYS licensure or license-eligibility as a Psychologist.
• Psychological/neuropsychological assessment experience.
• Individual, group, and family therapy experience.
• Intake interviewing skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Fluency in second language preferred (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, etc.).
