PT Pediatric Physical Therapist Job at Harmony Home Health and Hospice
This position evaluates and implements physical therapy to patients with neurological, wound, or musculoskeletal injuries. Physical therapy techniques can be used to relieve pain, restore physical functioning and facilitate independence. The Physical Therapist may be involved in the prevention of disabilities or injury re-occurrence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities *
The following information is intended to be representative of the work to be performed by incumbents in this position and is not all-inclusive.
- Provide therapeutic treatments and evaluation of equipment needs as applicable.
- Evaluate the home environment and make recommendations
- Initial and ongoing assessments to determine level of functioning, including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points.
- Establishes plan of treatment and goals
Qualifications and Experience
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
- Experience in Home Health preferred.
- TB screening.
- CPR certification.
- A criminal background check and drug screen must be performed before hire.
