Advance Services Inc. is hiring a purchasing coordinator for its manufacturing facility in West Houston.
Primarily responsible for :
- Run past due and future purchase order reports for data reconciliation
- Shipment tracking, expediting and PO maintenance for domestic/international orders
- Track and report material backorders from vendors to Buyer and Operations teams
- Assist accounting with any outstanding payment issues
- Perform vendor file maintenance
- Complete ad hoc reporting and data entry as needed
- Process miscellaneous purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Enter and track monthly facility utility invoices
- Perform related administration and clerical duties as assigned
- Escalation of complex issues to the Procurement Manager
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience with a working knowledge of manufacturing administrative processes and procedures.
- Familiarization with manufacturing and service environment
- Strong professional relationship-building and management skills, and ability to interface across the entire enterprise (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PM&L, Trade Compliance, Accounting, etc.) as well as with vendors
