Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Tester’s role is to have a strong understanding of the Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance world while focusing on the execution of system/integration and user-acceptance test plans and testing execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to execute functional testing scenarios from business requirements
  • Execute system/integration user-acceptance test plans
  • Work with other testing resources, communicating the status of testing activities and providing testing results
  • Follow processes that ensure all tests are conducted and documented according to the agreed upon standards
  • Report issues/bugs and provide necessary supporting documentation
  • Validate training materials and process change documents
  • Participate in quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans, and other QA assessments
  • Conduct periodic regression test plans to ensure systems continue to perform according to expectations
  • Look for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing practices
  • Monitor and work support box for all internal users; Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to policy admin, claims and billing systems
  • Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others as needed in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintains the integrity of the company and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities as a project team member, understands personal and team roles; Contributes to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; Providing feedback to other staff. Ability to work well in a team environment and as an individual.
  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities that include creative thinking and problem-solving skills, individual initiative
  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Personal and Commercial lines of insurance products
  • Skills in conflict resolution
  • Ability to follow best practices in testing
  • Proven skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Outlook.
